Not only did this have some interesting sonic reflections between the parallel walls you can see here but at the bottom it had a very low crawl space into the now empty water cistern. This was about 6m in diameter and perhaps 20m in height. The sound reflections were very special: very strong and clear but still allowing clarity for the spoken voice (it wasn&#8217;t so wide after all). Moving closer to the middle or the walls of the cistern resulted in quite different reflective patterns striking the ears.
